4 Month Check Up

Jonah had his 4 month well visit today. It all went well despite the shots. Poor little guy cried pretty hard and then fell asleep in the car on the way home. He seemed to be doing okay this evening and even played for a few minutes on his new Jumperoo that Jimmy put together! Let's see how the night goes....He was in good spirits for the doctor; babbled, rolled over, held his head up high while on his tummy, and was bright eyed as usual. Jonah is now 15 pounds and 7 ounces and measuring at 25 and 1/2 inches long, putting him in the 50%, if that matters. Basically he is growing well and doing great! I got all my questions answered about starting solids and after discussing the issues we had with the rice cereal, it seems that he doesn't need it. Since he's growing so well it is not necessary and we can skip it. According to the doctor, it's just a calorie filler that he doesn't need. Now it's time to start on Stage 1 veggies and fruits! Boy oh boy, that's going to be messy! Jimmy set up the high chair tonight...my baby is growing fast....I guess we're going to start food in the next day or so. Will keep you posted :)

Becoming A Mommy

The last 4 months have been the most amazing journey of my life. One can never imagine the feelings a mother has for her child until it is hers to have....

Jonah blessed us with his presence on August 11, 2009 at 11:28am. He was a cutie from the start! He is truly a sweet boy, playful, cuddly, so attentive to the world around him, and developing his personality daily. Jonah is "talking" a lot, smiling and laughing, and has even started rolling over recently! He is growing so quickly and bringing so much joy to our lives. He puts many smiles on our faces each day. Here are a bunch of pictures to get us caught on on the last 4 months!
